A dog named Ashley who went missing for a period of months that was must caused heartbreak for her owner after a dog sitter left the front gate open by accident has been located and reunited with her owner in Daytona Beach Florida recently.
The distance of where Ashley ran away was in Savannah Georgia to Daytona Beach is around 200 miles.
The most likely scenario must have been that a stranger picked up Ashley and took her to Florida to take care of the dog before being taken to the Halifax Humane Society in Daytona Beach Florida where the dog was going to be placed for adoption.
It is likely that the owner who was missing Ashley used the power of social media via a dog advocate to look for his missing dog when she found out where Ashley was located.
The lost dog advocate contacted Ashley's owner to inform her where to pick up Ashley and reunite them so they can enjoy each other's company.
I like to share these animal and human reunion stories on this site since there are good people in our world.

I am SO GLAD Ashley was returned to her owners. I would have been beside myself if I ever lost one of our dogs.

I know how you feel since when Burt and Mumps who are cats go outside for a walk, my sister fears that they will not come home safe again.
