Pottsville Arkansas dad Joe Chronsiter and his wife are eternally grateful that a first year Pottsville police officer named Cody Hubbard came to save their three year old child son was choking on anti cough drops.
Officer Hubbard answered the call for help from the frantic parents to see if he could revive the child who was on labored breathing by the time he arrived at the home last Thursday.
Officer Hubbard who is a dad himself used his first aid training to place his hand on the back of the child to remove the object from inside his breathing lanes which was successful to the delight of the police officer and the relatives of the child.
Officer Hubbard will be rewarded with an award from his superiors later on this year for saving the life of a child.

I think a 3-year-old is too young for cough drops...but then what do I know?
