June 7 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a super good day. I'm thankful I went to the Y this morning. I had a good workout in the pool and fitness center. The receptionist, who is reading Vendetta, loves it. She's a quarter of the way through it. I'm thankful for the walk I got today, even if it was at the hottest part of the day. Believe me, I won't be doing that again. I'll go early or not at all. Early meaning dawn when it's still cool outside. I'm thankful I got the notifications done early. It's always good to be here and interact with you and find out about your life and what you're doing in your part of the world. I'm thankful I could answer my phone when it rang this afternoon. I usually need to call the person back immediately because it doesn't always allow me to answer it. Stupid phone. Anyway, it was the senior apartment complex I want to move into. I went right over there. Walked since it's literally out the back of the complex. I filled out all the paperwork. Tomorrow I will go to the bank and get money orders for the credit check and deposit. She told me they just had two apartments come available on the first floor. She said that never happens. Not two at the same time, in the same building, on the same floor, even the first floor. I looked at both of them. One is available next month. The other is available September first. The second one is getting all new carpeting and vinyl flooring. I'm going for that one. So potential move-in is September. I only need to pass the credit check and I don't see that as a problem. Okay, I need to leave for prayer tonight. That's been my day.
