OMG! It has been a busy week and weekend...and there isn't an end in sight right now. Last week I prepped for a yard sale. We had said yard sale on Saturday. It was awesome! I had people and traffic and I made enough to get new shoes and put money aside for the christmas cards this year. With a little extra. Needless to say I was ecstatic. We tried to help the same friends that let me set up the yard sale in their garage, get a boat. It was being given to them but after we got there, it was just better to not take it on. It was a total loss, sad to say and they felt bad for taking us out in the holler to get it. No big deal, I was just sad they didn't get the boat. They took us out to dinner at this cute little mexican resturant and we were in for a surprise. Our friend decided to tell the waitress that it was my husband's birthday. How we pulled it off though without him knowing it is a mystery but we did. His face was priceless and it gave everyone a much needed laugh. It's everywhere now too, facebook and tik tok. I actually joined tik tok for that lol. Yesterday I started packing for the Maryland trip. We have his job covered now. He can leave for the week and they'll pull someone out of the layoff pool to cover him. So when he gets back he will still have his job. At least that's what they say. Last night I also started working on those 25 pages for that publishing contest. It's going to take me a couple days but I think I know what I'm doing now. I'm so excited to do this, just the chance is amazing to me. Today, there need to be more packing and a lot of computer work. I also need to work on the story so I can get that turned in. I only have until Monday to get it done. At least done enough that I can't edit it anymore lol. What is everyone else up to today? How was your weekend?
