Being a crossing guard may not be what is referred to as a job that gains the respect of many persons today since it is the belief that it is an easy job for older persons. Robert Frew who is 92 years young who worked as a crossing guard at Orange City Elementary School in Volusia County Florida for 16 years after he retired working for a telephone company in New York. Robert admitted that he enjoyed his work as a crossing guard since he enjoyed his work seeing children going to and from school. Officials from the Orange City Elementary School were on hand on June 4 which was his day on the job as their way of thanking him for his service at the school since he richly deserved since he did a wonderful job taking care of the children going to and from school. Who says that sports stars have all of the fun at farewell shows?

@Deepizzaguy you are right and I think this might also be the reason of his good well being, being active and doing something

What I know is that if a person works as a crossing guard, some persons think it is a low paying job that has no meaning.
