Not many give importance to crotons as they grow easily but I have them all over the garden adding colour when flowers do not bloom. My choice for our garden is not just exotic but ordinary as well I even have wild flowers that have a pride of place. What ordinary plants do you have in your garden?

I agree with you, they are easy to care for, so many varieties, shapes and colors some people collect them, they are called " San Francisco" plants here. Besides crotons I have common plants like Mayana, purple tradescantia ( wondering jew), Manila palm (Christmas palm) so much more

Some will only go for the so called exotic and their gardens never look colourful. Nice to know you have a variety of easy to grow plants

@allknowing here is one of my crotons in my roof top garden beside the more exotic money tree ( pachira aquatica), the variegated oregano and the laurel tree ( laurus nobilis) that took ages to reach that size

@allknowing If I want to cook, I process, if not I clean and store, not much, just a little because my garden is small
