Have you ever ran out of money while trying to make ends meet? And if so, who did you turn to, or what did you do?

So, we all know that with this pandemic and the current inflation rates, times are really tough. Was there ever a time in your life where you did not have enough money to make ends meet? And how did you survive that stage? Do you turn to your family ( parents, siblings), or your friends, or do you try and battle it out on your own? I would turn to my parents first before anyone else, but I know a few people who that would be their worst case scenarios. What about you? Have you ever ran out of money to make ends meet? What did you do? Who did you turn to? If you never been is such a situation, who do you think you would you turn to should that happen?

My family made it quite clear I can't turn to them for anything, so I've never tried. Even with housing and my husband paying part of the rent, we still struggled to pay bills. I would pick and chose what bills to pay. I would let them accumulate, and I eventually said screw it on the landline service to save money.

It is tough... expecially when there is noone you can turn to. But you were able to figure things out on your own, with your family ( you and your spouse) , and make it through these situations. That's amazing. It's not easy to go through but you did it

This is my middle name. I've faced this situation many times. Had to ask grandmother for money and ask around for odd jobs. And use my jar of pennies, and even panhandle a few times. Also, the credit cards came in handy!
