Lately I have been assigned to speak in public which is not my forte. Even though it's just reading the text and it's only about 15 minutes, it's a bit but I'm always shaking which makes me sweat. I don't really like it when other people focus their eyes on me, it makes me uncomfortable.

Just look a bit above their eyes. It's like you're looking at them, but you're actually looking almost above their heads. Less eye contact, less nervous.

I understand you are nervous, when they see you then stay calm.

You can do it. Focus on something else, and try not to think about people watching you. If you need to, pratice with a mirrior.

I get rid of my stage fright by looking at the audience and focusing on them and forgetting that they are all looking at me

@Emasburinong This used to happened with me everytime.but later I was elected as school head and have to daily be present on stage . I never watched anyone, the expressions of people use to make me feel more terrible. So I use to watch at a particular point and saw noone. Later when I overcame the Fear I could easily make eye contact with the audience.
