I had the taste of boiled jack fruit seeds this season Jack fruits are ready for harvest but being lock down we have yet to perform that task. We could harvest a few that were low down. The fruits are not as sweet as they should be because of rains but we are planning to cook them.

We make a spicy curry with those boiled seeds. My daughters like it and they call it vegetarian kidney fry. I love ripe jackfruit. Didn't have them since the pandemic.

We had lot of jackfruits this year. We have been eating them for last several days. After the one I bought sometimes back, my daughter bought almost 10 kg fruit for just Rs. 250. That was very cheap. We shared it with our family. Again yesterday one was gifted by one of our relatives. We enjoy the seeds more than we enjoy the fruit. That was done yesterday evening.

Yes it tastes good. While many boil, few fry them. Tastes good both ways.
