Macon Georgia farmer Michael Kougioulis was riding on his tractor last week cutting his hayfield when he saw a fawn laying down on the grass after his mom had placed her offspring in the field. Michael made a smart decision to stop his tractor in time and rescue the fawn who came close to getting killed by the blades of the tractor. The deer who left her fawns to lay down on the hayfield thought that the fawns would be safe in the area of the hayfield until she would return to reunite with her offspring later on in the day. Michael is warning other farmers to be careful cutting hay on their farms since animals will be in the region since it is their place to take a break.

That fawn was lucky that he spotted it. Wildlife really have no sense of self-preservation because they feel safe.
