I miss my cats, I have 5 cats which I left back home :(. I'm currently at varsity but I miss my cats so much (even more than my family, lol). At this rate I'm sure they have forgotten me. Do cats really forget people? I hope not because in my mind I'm pretty sure I've formed a bond with each one (only 3 of them because 2 are kittens and I left home when they where only a month old). So much side notes (sigh). Have a wonderful day :)

I'm sure they miss you, too. Especially if you were really close to them. Though I believe cats just have a different way of expressing that they miss you.

@Pelton I completely understand. I have dogs and just being away for a short time stresses me and them out. Hope you get to see them soon.

As per my experience they forget us. few years back there was a kitten in my house his mother took her to some other house ( we know them) in the same colony , so one day i went there to bring it back but it did not recognize me and was afraid after seeing me and ran away .

Ohh sad, but they do warm up to you after some time. Or maybe because she was still a kitten so that's why she didn't remember you

I`m not so sure about cats but I know cats are sweet and can sense a kind person

I know that dogs remember people but I am not sure about cats. But cats are intelligent animals , so maybe they will remember you.
