Mongoose

Some of you may not know what a mongoose is. You will see them in the photo busy trying to increase their population. I like them but the only bad habit they have is digging in the soil for tubers and eating our pineapples. But they keep reptiles away and so I tolerate them when they use our premises to increase their population. We have many strolling around here.

I have watched a Mongoose fighting off a big snake and it was some time back now. They really can defend themselves against such danger.

@allknowing Yes indeed no fear of snakes in them and it went straight for the throat area. Always been impressed the know how they have.

We had planted sweet potatoes and they destroyed that patch But if we raise the bed they do not go there. I am trying for that this year.
