I’ve been getting some random text lately. From numbers not in my contact list. The text messages are always about my stimulus check. Lol.. Wait I didn’t knew I was getting a fake check that I hasn’t been claimed in 3 months. I wonder why? Probably became actually my stimulus check is actually my husband check since he claims tax wise me and the kids. I don’t work. I just keep deleted these stupid text they always have a link which I’m smart enough to know to not click on them because it’s some person just trying to get free money or my information to use to get money or card.

I don’t block the number because lots of people use scrabble or can get your number and use or anyone else number and use it to call or text and it shows up with no name. So if you block the number you can be blocking a number you have.

@Beaser yes! Which is why I just deleted them. If it has like a stop or something then I responded back to get the number removed from there list.

@ShyBear88 - You're absolutely right. A lot of these people spoof the numbers and can even make it appear it's coming from a known number. It can be really frustrating.

It's a smart move to delete them. I get random texts also and it's it's not from a number I know I don't even open them.

My phone shows me a part of the text when it pops up also when I go to my messages it still gives you part of the text and I read that part and deleted or open if it’s a number or know or even if it’s a number I know and I don’t want to answer I leave it
