I was just thinking about a memory that popped into my head, and I want to share it with you all, as I wasn't active on MyLot (nor was I a member of Bubblews) at the time. My Dad passed away in 2013, when my 11yr old niece was about 3yrs old. When it was explained to her that he went to Heaven, she understood he "went to the clouds". It was a way for us to explain to a three-year-old that her Pop Pop had passed away. Now, keep in my mind, my Dad has always been into science and science fiction. He used to take us to the science center back in the day, and he'd tell me if the moon looked different or more visible so I could snap pictures. So anyway, my niece (who was about 3 at the time) and I were talking about outer space. I was telling her how it’s past the Earth, clouds, etc. Her response? “That’s where Pop-Pop go?” The fact that she asked that, and how he was into that stuff, tugged at my heartstrings a bit. I did tell her yes, that’s where he went. But it’s a memory I never forgot, and I wanted to share it with all of you. I’m going to cut this short because my head hurts, and that’s pretty much the story, so you all take care, and I’ll be back later for the Gratitude Challenge. Photo Credit: Pixabay.
