Good Morning, myLot !

I got a few confusing messages from the vet, and they weren't even open when I took Angel there Saturday (at 7:45 a.m., like they said). Today I went at nine, and they said, "We don't do drop offs at this time, but we'll see if we can accomodate you." 
So evidently they "could" accommodate me, but then they told me the price for whatever they were going to do with Angel was $300.
Me: "No, I can't afford that."
Person behind the counter: "We'll that's your choice."
So, Angel and I left. We went a couple of doors down, and, like I promised her, I got her a treat at the pet store (one that she took out of the basket as she passed).
The little rawhide strip she picked cost .99, but when I got to the checkout counter, the guy said it was "On the house".
Angel and I came home, and she has already made short work of the rawhide chew.
Now I need to go and make my bed, and put some laundry away. The dishwasher is still running, so I'll be putting dishes away after a while.
