Covid Havoc in India / myLot

Covid-19 is playing havoc with the lives of people in India. The majority are poor and depend on daily work for daily bread. With Covid restrictions there is no daily work. Besides, the vaccines were still recently priced beyond their reach.Now the vaccines are said to be free ,but in very short supply. And if anybody gets Covid, the hospitals are demanding lakhs of rupees which only a handful can afford. Really we are at our wits' end. We wait for any eventuality with our fingers crossed.

It's very sad what's happening in India

My boyfriend tells me " life is very tough" there in Punjab. I pray that your situation will get better soon.

Very sorry things are as they are there..here we still have numbskulls that refuse to get the vaccine. Fortunately, most do as they are supposed to.

It's sad the government doesn't do anything. Maybe covering all the medical costs might be too much, but at least providing people with food so they aren't forced to leave home and get infected to earn it.

Also, a good diet and mood is needed for the immune system to work properly. Providing supplements as prevention would also help having less people in hospitals. If the government doesn't do anything, it's the people who should help each other in every way they can. I hope for the best, staying optimistic is the last cure.
