I took my time to switch to Windows 10 when it was offered for free. At the very beginning we'll work as free beta-testers. It's going to look a bit different but hopefully not too much, I hate adapting to changes.
However, I didn't know it will support Android apps. That sounds like great news!

@youless I will be one of the latest people to upgrade to Windows 11. Android apps are cool but I let other people find bugs to fix.

By all accounts, the release of Windows 11 seems to have been a rush job. From what I have read, it looks as though it will not support older hardware and will support "97% of existing Windows software". That means that 3% of older software - the kind which many people hold onto and cherish because it does the job - will no longer run. I read nothing about it being able to support Android apps and I see no reason why it should because Android and Windows are two entirely different operating systems using different processors and architecture.

Well I'll be darned. I thought they said they were stopping at Windows 10. I just hope I am able to update on the devices I already have. Really I'm doing fine on what I've already got. Oh well. I'm using a Chromebook right now. I like it, nice and light and also simple.
