Lions Are Not As Strong As We Think

Recently I have seen some videos on African wild life. I am surprised to see that a lion is unable to take on an elephant or a buffalo one to one. Lions as a group attack the huge animals by surrounding them on all sides. The lions look weak and cowardly as the huge animal,a buffalo or an elephant, puts up a gallant fight singlehanded. Really an insult to the lions.

They might not be very strong but they're smart enough to realize team work is what they need. What about the saying "union is strength" then? At least they aim for big prey and not the pups.

@RAOCV20 Thank you for sharing that information on the lions with us and I find it very sad that they have to fight in a group to surround them and beat them.
