Monsoons

Monsoon for me is a blessing in disguise. Though I love hearing the pitter patter of rain over my tin rooftop enjoying along with the hot fritters made by my mother.
But living alone in hostel, monsoons have been a total bane for me these days managing all the work by myself alone in this weather and those wet floors and the crack on one of the walls through which the water sweeps inside the room getting it damp and swampy.
Tell me your views on monsoon!

Monsoon rains may be good and may be bad. For farmers, they love rains. For a poor people they hate rains for their poorly built houses aren't secured.

very true; beginning of monsoons in some rural parts of India is celebrated grandly just like some festivals by the farmers, urban area people enjoys it by taking a small break from hustle and bustle and busy life
whereas for students like us it is more like getting an unexpected off from schools:P and for those who have to clean their place all by themselves (like me) rain is no less than a nightmare

Monsoons are great to give the grass some much needed water. The negative part is too much rain floods the roads.

Hostel life is far different from the comfort of home and you will have to manage all the affairs yourself in the hostel. Everyone enjoys rain and that includes me also, specially when we are inside. However, there has been delay in arrival of monsoon, here in Delhi and we are facing severe heat wave.

@ThatDisha Hyderabad is a place where it rains regularly, specially during these months. I have been to Hyderabad many times, therefore, I know. It is not the case in Delhi. However, luckily for the last two days, it rained in the evening and this brought down the temperature. It is hot today once again.

We don't have to deal with them here in Florida, and the flooding rains are far and few in-between. I've only lived in one or two places where rain got in and almost flooded the place, but I'm confident that won't happen to our house.

@ThatDisha yes exactly and someone told me to look at the result or your goal or milestone and happiness you will experience once you achieve whenever you feel sad or stuck due to this busy routine
