A dog that went missing for 11 years reunites with his owner

I have to give credit where credit is due to San Antonio Texas resident David Calderon for never giving up hope that he would reunite with his Labrador Retriever dog Samson who went missing for a period of 11 years. The key to Samson being found by officials of the Animal Care Services in San Antonio Texas who found Samson in David's neighborhood in June 2021. Samson had been microchipped by David before he ran away from home in 2010. David feels that his pet was stolen by someone who may have been his enemy or someone who does not care the welfare of dogs. Where did Samson go during his 11 years of absence is not known other than when Samson reunited with his owner at an animal shelter in San Antonio, he had lost weight and was covered with fleas. Even though David is angry that the person who stole his dog 11 years ago harmed Samson, David will do his best to enjoy the remaining years of life with his best friend that he will ever have in life as Samson is making a recovery by visiting the veterinarian on a monthly basis.
