It was great to have this in brunch since I skipped breakfast and was hungry early so took this around 11 am and along with Spicy Chickpeas and poori which is a Indian flat bread deep fried in mustard oil and with that it was curd mixed with boondi so it was a delicious brunch and heavy too. What are you having for the meal?

That sounds yummy! We use mustard oil as our main cooking oil but never tried frying poori in that. We had poori yesterday. Today it would be simple yellow fried dal, rice, and potato cauliflower fry.

@Butterfingers I use ghee or physically refined rice bran or groundnut oil.

@arunima25 ok we used to prefer the vegetable oil or the refined oil but shifted to mustard oil from years now

I still don't know what I will prepare for lunch, but I believe it will be something quick, because I don't like to cook.

My wife would love that. I would like the sweet boondi. My sister in law used to make it & the family would cook lots of it to bring home to the UK with us.
