Good afternoon from this side of the planet. It's 3:22 PM here as I write this post. I spent some time helping my younger daughter with her school work after lunch and now I can see myself feeling lazy to do anything. It's still not my nap time. I am in a mood to relax and enjoy. And nothing better than mylot for that
.
I had kept simple meal of rice, daal ( pulses) and potato and cauliflower fry. Skipped cooking breakfast and we had toast and peanut butter. I am not going to cook dinner either, we will have Maggie ( instant noodles) with scrambled eggs. We don't eat instant noodles frequently. It has been months since we had them and it's okay to have them once in a while.
Now the picture shows the development on my Mandala art project. I did a bit on that after my breakfast.
Hope all having a good time in their mylot corner

@arunima25 Yes, I saw that and left a comment too.
Did you learn this art by yourself?

@Shiva49 Thanks. Your comment was supportive. I learnt it by myself. I always enjoyed art and craft. I get ideas from Pinterest and then try it. And something of my original comes out

I enjoy doing it. I find it therapeutic and so don't mind the time that goes there. The design in this one is quite simple. If you check the finished order that I posted few days back, that design was intricate and I devoted some good hours there.

I will post the complete picture when done. It's not very big. You can see the whole picture here. A perfect square one and then ofcourse a border and some margin for framing it. It's an art piece for one corner of the house for my friend and this size should be perfect. She wants two of these adjacent to each other.
I used a marker pen or the regular gel pen in cartridge sheets.

@S4mmyboy We can use colors and make it colorful. But this lady wanted monochrome in black and red.

I think it should be a bit convenient now with simplification of GST form. It was quite confusing in the beginning.
Mango for dessert sounds good.
This week we got lychee almost everyday along with jamun.

@arunima25 GST in its initial stages was very cumbersome and gave hell of a time even to tech savvy people. They have now simplified it to great deal. I am involved with it right from its inception. I have now opted for composition scheme dealer which has made my life very easy. I have to just file self assessed sales figure and pay related tax once in 3 months. As against monthly filing for regular dealers with 2-3 forms to be filled.
Jamun is very common fruit here but now a days no where to be seen. We have got a very big and old jamun tree behind our family house. Children from the village used to gather there to eat the fruit but now a days it is not yielding any fruits.

@msdivkar Good that it is simplified. Many found it cumbersome in initial stage and complained.
We have three Jamun trees in our family house and we had so many fruits. But then we didn't value it. Now I am buying the same at such expensive rates. The tree might have gone too old to yield fruits.

We don't keep a stock else we will end up eating them more frequently.
It's tempting. Glad we have a store downstairs and they deliver it in half an hour or we can walk and get it in few minutes.

@arunima25 My stock is enough to be consumed for a short period of time. It's only for an instant meal.

@Anqaya I use art as therapy for my students as special educator and counselor. I enjoy doing Mandala, Worli and Madhubani art. Also do some paper quilling. I enjoy doing them and so you can call me an artist.

Many are selling it online. I am doing good enough with the word of mouth marketing
I don't think I can do justice to too many orders. Maybe I can think of having it as a business some time later. Right now it's a hobby and some money making out of it.

I take my nap from 4_4:45 and today I missed that. It's late afternoon but I prefer my lunch to be fully digested before I go for a nap. So I give few hours after lunchtime.

My weekend was good. I have a holiday on Monday too as it is Founders Day of the school where I work

I'm also lazy right now but not that much for a nap.
