Yes I can help you to start dig a good size hole say 2 feet deep build a big fire now you are going to need lots of wood so start early when you have a lot of coals fill the hole up to around 1 foot with coals either get rocks or a thin layer of sand or better is use a heap of banana leaves dont use **heshian bags** then put pig in then more rocks or sand or banana leaves then heaps of coals on top then leave now depending how big the pig is and you can cook whole vegies in there as well dont peel just throw them in **beautiful** cook for I would say 5-6 hours then dig it out and PIG IN ****

The hole could be a bit deeper but will take a lot of coals We do smaller ones here and cook fish and potatoes I have had large ones and thats why I say dont use HESHIAN BAGS the taste goes thru the food yuk! but once you do it you will do it again !!!!

i guess you want to cook a LECHON.... you can cut a big barrel lengthwise then use one side of it to burn your charcoal so that you won't make some mess on the ground.
