Good neighbors assist a driver who was trapped inside a burning auto

I really admire the work of strangers who took action on Monday morning in Bakersfield California to save the life of a male driver who was trapped inside of his auto that crashed into a parked semi truck which caused a fire in his front cabin compartment. Several neighbors did what they could to put out the fire of the burning auto by using water bottles, water from a hose and buckets of water before the local firefighters arrived to get the male driver whose name was not revealed even though he is a 17 year teenager out of the auto in the nick of time. The condition of the 17 year old male accident victim is not known at this time other than that he did suffer life threating injuries as he is being treated in a local hospital in Bakersfield after a medical team took him from the scene of the accident by ambulance. Bakersfield police officers believe that the driver may have fallen asleep or was distracted while driving on the road during the sunrise hours.
