Friday night rambles.

This is probably the only time you will hear from me tonight. I just got home, and I just don't have it in me to interact tonight. But I figured since I haven't posted in a little while, I would go ahead and post some random babble. We went and looked at the rental property today that belongs to the other half's uncle. It has had the same renter for years, and since she just moved out, he's ready to put it on the market and sell it. Which means it needs a lot of work before it gets listed. Which happens to be one of our areas of expertise. It's trashed. Tenant left her dog/dogs holed up in the house all the time, so the whole house reeks of pee and poo. So all the carpet is getting ripped up, as well as most of the flooring in the bathrooms and kitchen. Also a ton of pressure washing outside, patching, paitning and replacing doors and crud. So it's going to be a week or two. Which is nice. I'm ready to have a big project to work on, and this is for sure that. There is one bedroom that I may or may not be able to salvage the carpet in, I'm going to take my carpet cleaner tomrorow and see if I can get the carpet clean. If not I'm tearing it out. Other than that, there isn't a whole lot going on here. We went and saw some friends tonight. Got some minnows for the turtle, and went out to dinner tonight. Other half and I went to Firehouse Subs, which was delcious as always. Even though they were out of my soup, which was a bummer. On the way home we went through Arby's to get dinner for the kids. I just bought Deathproof on Amazon Video so I think we are going to watch that tonight, while I write some artciels for Vocal and HubPages. Hope everyone is having a great night.
