Fearing for the vaccine

Philippines
July 11, 2021 11:09pm CST
My brother requested us to check if the doctor is in he wants to have a med certificate for him for first. But sadly, he's on leave and not sure when he would be available. I've already submitted my information to the concered medical team. But no schedules yet. Maybe I need a clearance from my doctor, which is the same. Anyone's got vaccinated here? how it feel?

It's just normal but you may get sick for a day and that's fine

Yeah for most part the big effects are about two days.

@Butterfingers Mine hit me like 3 weeks later damn shoulder again, but for most people it seems to be pretty steady in length of time. It was just like a pop up thing and then went away. I was never worried about it. Better than dying is what I always say.

I haven't, but then I don't get the yearly flu vaccination, either, not because I'm against vaccines but because I don't get the flu.

To be honest the first one is not bad, I am not sure what you guys getting but most come in two shots the 2nd one your arm hurts like the first but it will attack your weak spots. My brother had problems with his knees and back. I had problems with my joints also. It hit my ankles and my right shoulder where I messed it up from pitching in baseball. Its not so bad usually a aspirin works and more annoying than anything. I was just laying in bed and go damn that has to be the vaccine why I feel this discomfort. Also played ball with my dog Brooklyn and threw it like a girl on first throw because shoulder just went out. 10 more throws I was back to normal. It does make you sleepy too. I am always tired these days so not sure how sleepy.

My husband got both doses. Other than a sore arm after the second dose, no other side effects. I'm scheduled to get mine on Wednesday.

Were you instructed not to take a bath or not wet the shoulder once you get vaccinated?

@Letranknight2015 Nope. After I got mine I could have a shower as usual. The sore arm lasted for less than 48 hours.
