No excuse for the forked tongue at the palace. The creature fooled 16 million Filipinos most of whom were taken by false campaign promises. One such promise was jet-skiing to the Scarborough Shoal to assert Philippines' claim to maritime economic zone. The legal claim was filed by former president Benigno Aquino III at the Hague. When the case was won, the successor to the leadership of the land, the foul mouth, chose to play fire with the dragon. China has turned the shoal into a nuke base, firm on stressing the shoal is theirs via the 9-dash line. Don't you think this is treason? I do, of course.
The US has backed the Philippines against China in the South China Sea. But, is America betting on a reluctant partner? WION's Palki tells you about Rodrigo ...

Honest? I think that tough rhetoric won the people over but the reality of confronting CCP is too worrysome for Dueterte, even with the backing of the US military. The US is only too happy to confront CCP for violations of international judgements. They are enthusiastic to move forward even if the Phillipine leaders are not. This is a betrayal of the US and even worse, a betrayal of the Phillipines and all her people. From my viewpoint I would agree. It's treason.

There is a small island southeast of our archipelago called Palau. The president of the island nation refused to answer calls from China. The Philippines is composed of many islands with natives priding themselves of gallant warrior tribes for an ancestry. We did welcome strangers to our archipelago but an invasion is a completely different matter. The traitor is in the palace.

@Vikingswest1 Thank you very much. Been praying for deux ex machina the past five years. Elections coming up next year. Grateful for the US support, the seventh fleet constantly sailed our way. Your troops did boost our spirits.

@Deepizzaguy Yup. Actually, the political instability has started. Day of reckoning for those who plundered the country and abused the people.

He is playing around and does not have any plans to invoke that ruling over China and instead will spread fear amongst his followers that we cannot confront China militarily. That is his only excuse why he would not confront China about it. I strongly believe he has just sworn his loyalty to them and not to us.

@eileenleyva We need not use our military prowess but just need the international community to be on our side which we have achieved when we won the arbitral hearings. It is only the president who is saying that we are powerless against them.

@rsa101 Yes. That is the point being - the fact that the shoal is internationally recognized as ours is already a signal for China to keep off. It was the coward of a creature who pose as the leader of the land who made it easy for the invaders to claim our shoal and even destroy mountains in Zambales for the materials to build a nuke base in the shoal/ (sorry) Grrrr.

If Congress isn't a lapdog of this liar, he should have been impeached long ago.
