Are you trying to say myLot is scam? I mean, I don't think it is, there are, several online scams, but I don't think this one. Anyway, I think the reason that they don't anything is because there isn't a real way to show you were scammed, they can delete files and all, so there's no way to prove. But about buying online, then there is a way that you can prove you were scammed. And most online buying sites are secure, so there's not much to worry about.

No not mylot. I'm refering to all those 'give me money' and 'this is what we promise' offers that they know isn't really what they are claiming.

Which government? The internet is practically a free for all. There may be some regulations about using the internet but with so many people using it no one country will be able to stop all of the scams.

The Internet is presently a free place. You can pretty much do and say and operate whatever you like because there are not any real laws governing what goes on. It's an easy place to scam people, because no one is going to punish scammers. There is no country boundary. In a way that is a good thing, because people are becoming friendly all around the world, but in terms catching scammers its bad.
