I have to give credit where credit is due related to the hard work of Winston-Salem firefighters who did their duty to rescue a driver whose name and gender were not released to the public who fled from the police around 2am on Tuesday after a traffic stop went bad. The driver of the silver Mercedes Benz was pulled over by deputies of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office for a traffic violation. When the driver refused to obey the commands of the deputy to allow the officer to search the auto that had guns, cash and drugs inside, the driver fled the scene of the incident by driving away on Interstate 40 west at a high speed chase that lasted for a short while until the other police autos that assisted them to place stop sticks on the road to deflate the tires and force the driver to try to run away from the police. The driver then jumped over an overpass on Interstate 40 to the ground below where the first responders arrived to rescue the injured driver by use of a high angle rescue method. The injured driver who was injured from the fall was taken by an ambulance to a local hospital in stable condition. The lesson to be learned according to many law enforcement officers is never try to flee from a police officer during a traffic stop since any attempts to get away from the police are not in your favor. Hopefully the injured driver will learn a lesson not to try something like fleeing the police ever again in the future.

You are right since the police these days have the equipment to prevent speedy drivers from getting away from them.

@Deepizzaguy they are very well coordinated. Should it happened here, the suspect already fled without knowing the whereabouts specially if it happened in the province
