I admire the thinking of 62 year old Braintree Massachusetts resident Paul "Paulie" Veneto who will is living proof of the saying "Age is just a number." Paulie who was a former flight attendant is going to take a walk from Boston's Logan Airport to Ground Zero in New York City by pushing a cart as his way of paying a tribute to the deceased victims of the airplane crashes into the Twin Towers in New York City. The reason that Paulie will be pushing a cart while he is walking is that he knew some of the flight attendants that perished in the tragic incident personally. The other reason he is taking his walk of 220 miles is that Paulie has beaten his opiate addiction in 2015. His walk pushing a cart is what he did when he was employed by United Airlines as a flight attendant. Paulie wants to raise awareness that the flight attendants were real heroes who did their job to the end of their lives by doing their job of keeping the passengers calm during the tragic day in 2001. The walk will start on begin on August 21, 2021. I wish Paulie the best in his mission.
