Movie list: Another Round

I recently watched a Danish film called Another Round (Danish title: Druk) starring Mads Mikkelsen. It won the Best International Feature Film at the 2021 Oscars and I enjoyed it very much. It is about these four teachers who subjected themselves to a drinking experiment, testing the level of alcohol each one can take without being intoxicated and interfering with their daily life, which for the most part is teaching. Initially, they noticed that their teaching skills improved a lot whenever they drink before class. However, when the drinking got out of hand, it caused some problems which they never expected. The movie depicted alcoholism in a way I have never seen before. It is fun and not overly dramatic, but it's honest and grounded. After months of liquor ban here in the Philippines because of the pandemic, this movie is a great way to reminisce on our pre-pandemic lives.
