The Red List, Omg is this happening to other country

I'm here at Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom has a Red List,
This are list of countries that residents are not allowed to visit and if you ever tried you'll be banned from entering the Kingdom for 3 years, I have not seen any official statement yet from the Government but I've found news and blogs from different social media and news website about it, I'll check it out later to confirm

There was a time when my passport was marked as not valid to travel in Iraq. I forgot what year exactly but i think it was during Bush’s regime when there was a war there. But my passport doesn’t have that now. It’s not probably the same as the red list in KSA but it’s a prohibition of visiting such country that’s not considered safe.

I rememer that too, my passport was also marked NOT VALID TO TRAVEL TO IRAQ. I think it was around 2007-2008, I couldn't remember the exact year.

@toniganzon I couldn't remember that the President was Bush, Jr. It was that time that I renewed my passport because I'm processing my visa for Ireland.

it has been a while since I responded to myLot, and as per the redlist I guess it is now getting lighter and most of countries now are opening, but sad to say some country like india is again prohibited from entering KSA, they have some issues there I guess
