How much is that doggy in the window?

I'm glad to show you Danie's lovely puppies. They're all gorgeous, healthy and strong! It makes me feel sad how those puppy mills are earning so much money from the poor dogs. They would have them mate twice a year for the money. And as long as people keep buying from them, coz they sell really cheap, they will continue. Sometimes I'd like to tell those people to stop buying dogs and just adopt from a shelter instead.

@toniganzon So glad to hear they are all healthy. I have sen many documentaries on those mills, it is heartbreaking. Shelters are another good option. My two cats came from shelters.

@CarolDM Back in 2006 I learned so many things about backyard breeding and puppy mills. Before that, I too bought from them because I have no knowledge how those puppies were treated. I just wanted one. But when I finally got a puppy from a legit and responsible breeder, she asked me to join a forum where I learned too many things. How the vets in my country were overcharging and giving unnecessary vaccines, puppy mills and backyard breeders, raw food, etc. Since then, I tried to educate others to get their pets from a reputable breeder or a shelter.

They’re not considered breeders by the reputable ones. It’s really disheartening to see the situation of the pups and they’re still selling them and people still buy just to have a cheaper one.

A screening is done before they are rehomed. Not all who wants them can have them. I'm very picky. They'll be given to people I trust only.

Same here but people still buy from them which is very disappointing. They’d go for cheap priced puppies without knowing the consequence. If they don’t have that much money for a puppy, then i think it’s best to get one from a shelter rather than giving money to the puppy mills and backyard breeders.
