Day 46 Exodus 33:7 And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp. 8 And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle. 9 And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses. 10 And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshiped, every man in his tent door. 11 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, face to face, as a man speaks unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle. Sometimes you want to get away from all the trouble facing you. What do you do and still be part of everything going on? God told Moses He would not go with the people to the Promised Land because they were stiff-necked. In response, the people feared God, and watched everything Moses did. Moses took the Tabernacle and moved it outside the camp and talked with God. When they saw God talk with Moses, they worshiped Him. As Christians, you need to set yourself apart from the world, but not to the point you aren’t aware of what is going on around you. You can’t pray if you don’t know what to pray for. Moses spent time in God’s presence to the point where everyone knew the special relationship, he had with Him. They saw him speak with God, face to face, as one speaks to his friend. They saw the connection and wanted to be part of it, so they worshiped God. When you spend time in God’s presence, praying, studying the Word, talking to Him about everything in your life, you will know God’s heart. Your actions will reflect your relationship with Him. People will see how you conduct your life and will want to have that special connection in their lives. When you approach God, He will draw you to Himself. Jeremiah 30:18 Thus says the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have mercy on his dwelling places; and the city shall be built upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof. 19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. 20 Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all who oppress them. 21 And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? says the LORD. 22 And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. God wants to spend time with you. He wants a special relationship with you. Are you ready to spend intimate time with God, to know His heart? He’s ready. Let’s pray: Father, draw me close to You. Let me see Your face and hear Your voice. Let me know Your heart. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 29 July 2021 by Valerie Routhieaux Image courtesy of Pixabay.

Without spending time with God I can't do anything right. And in times of troubles I need His strength all the more.

Yes. That`s right. God wants us to give time to him and that is the time when I have my praying time in the morning. I feel good every time I talk to him. Thank you for this wonderful reminder and prayer. God bless us all

Has the story of Moses come to you ? 10 He saw a fire and said to his family, ‘Stay here––I can see a fire. Maybe I can bring you a light from it or find some guidance there.’ 11When he came to the fire, he was summoned, ‘Moses! 12 I am your Lord. Take off your shoes: you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 13 I have chosen you, so listen to what is being revealed. 14 I am God; there is no god but Me. So worship Me and keep up the prayer so that you remember Me. 15 The Hour is coming––though I choose to keep it hidden––for each soul to be rewarded for its labour. 16 Do not let anyone who does not believe in it and follows his own desires distract you from it, and so bring you to ruin.’
