What Are Your Thoughts On QR Codes?

Curious. How many people reading this post use QR codes? What do you think of them? Should they replace URL’s, or is there room for both?

For me personally, they are rather useless and not making anything easier at all. I do not want to install a QR reader on my smartphone for that one code I have to read in maybe 3 years. Most codes have a comment underneath like "or visit to visit us" so WHY do I need this? Nah.... I'm too old for that stuff.

I've never used them, but then, I don't have a QR code reader.

What do you mean by qr codes replacing URL. Is that possible. I have not tried that. I only use QR codes when paying on grocery or any shop.

They happen to be my best friend, ever since Android decided to bake in a qrcode reader on my phone. It pops up with a website easily much easier to scan than a barcode.
