These kinds of stories are rare since in the world of news events any employee who sings a happy tune to a customer in their line of work is not considered newsworthy.
A Wal Mart cashier named Cheryll Watkins who used to work as an essential worker during the pandemic is now uplifting spirits of her customers in Greensboro North Carolina.
I have always applauded an employee who knows that the power of music with a happy message can make a person feel better.
Cheryll is being billed as a "Pandemic hero" for her efforts for uplifting the mood of customers who are in sadness that the current tough times with the pandemic that will not go away.
I just wish the news media would spend more time praising people who do make a difference in our lives with beautiful music instead of vulgar and shock music.

It's nice to hear about a cashier that is in a good mood and not the usual grumpiness.

I agree with you since I have heard that a happy employee gets more attention from customers than a grumpy employee.
