I really enjoy sharing these kinds of stories where a country singer who insists on doing his or her good deeds quietly assists a hard working employee to make their lives easier. The male country singer was his entourage at a Waffle House restaurant in Greensboro North Carolina on Thursday afternoon decided to tip his server Shirell "Honey" Lackey who was working a double shift with her daughter inside the restaurant when he decided to open up his heart of compassion and give Honey a $1,000 tip after one member of his band gave Honey a $50 tip. The singer also complimented Honey for working hard to provide for her daughter plus two tickets to a future concert and to make things even sweeter he gave her baby clothes and toys. I understand that the majority of country singers are patriots who understand the struggles of the average working man and woman in our nation by giving them a helping hand when they need one. I just wish all celebrities when they do good deeds for others would keep it quiet and not play the song "Hey Look Me Over."

What a great story. The best part? The band name wasn't mentioned. It wasn't done for publicity.

That is the way I like it since when a celeb promotes their good deeds, they are showoffs.

@Deepizzaguy Yep. The best charity is when the person receiving it doesn't even know where it came from.

That is true since most country singers know the struggles that a lot of us go through in these tough times.
