I would call it a case of being in the right place at the right time for an Olive Garden employee who was in the kitchen last week when he/she began to choke.
The reason that is called right place at the right time story is that seven members of the Gaston College who are nurses were inside of the restaurant when the instructor of the group Joyce Floyd rushed to the kitchen to see if she could relieve the food article from the choking victim before it would be too late.
When Joyce was not able to remove the object from the choking victim by using the Heimlich maneuver, she asked Madeline Hare who is taller than her instructor to use the Heimlich maneuver on the choking victim.
Hare was able to remove the object that caused the choking of the accident victim on the fifth try which amazed Ms. Hare who admits it was the first time that she used the Heimlich maneuver to save the life of a stranger.
I am sure that the choking victim thanked Ms. Hare for saving his or her life inside of the restaurant on that afternoon.

That is wonderful that she could save the woman's life, Most likely everyone should know how to perform this maneuver,

You are right since learning how to save someone from choking is important.
