I knew it was it just a matter of time that two Yonkers police officers and three bystanders who assisted a mom and her infant child from a terrible fate of being crushed underneath an auto that ran the two over last month. Yonkers police officers Rocco F and Paul Samoyedy with the assistance of three bystanders worked together to life the auto off of the ground where Mirna Palacios who is the mom and her infant daughter eight month old Leslie were trapped underneath the auto that pinned them while they were walking on a sidewalk near a barber shop. Mirna is still recovering from a broken leg in a local hospital in New York while her daughter who suffered a skull facture and had skin graft surgery to repair a burn on her shoulder was released from the hospital on Tuesday. The police officers thanked the bystanders who assisted them in saving the lives of the mom and her daughter. It is nice to see the city officials reward the police officers and the three bystanders for doing their work to assist persons in need.

A driver who did not have a license was crashing into other autos in the area last month.
