Good afternoon from this side of the planet. It's 4:40 PM and I just got up after my afternoon nap. I had a good nap for an hour and now I feel fresh.
Had a busy day today. I finished making two worksheets for my students for coming week after my breakfast, taught electric motor and it's functioning to my younger daughter and made this home made snacks called murukku after lunch. You can see this yummy snacks in picture. It's made from rice and urad dal paste and is deep fried. I have packed two boxes. That should be enough for few weeks. It came out good.
I was too tired and had a good one hour nap. Only to wake up to the excited screaming of my husband and elder daughter as India got another medal in wrestling.
Now here I am still lying in bed and mylotting on my phone.. I will step out of bed in a while. All done for the day. Even dinner is ready and I just need to make hot chapatis. The dough is ready and in refrigerator. All I need to do is fold clothes and iron them. I will do that while watching TV with my husband in the night.
So, I can be here and relax. Let's move on to reading some discussions and responding. I will take care of notifications after that.
Have a good time in your mylot corner. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend

@CuriousGab I can imagine thatIt's tempting and once you start munching on it, it is tough to control
Mine could not come out round like wheels and so the name chakli would not be justified

Yes,exactly.
Chakali
I remember once I took a box full of chakali to college and all girls made a quick attack and within 10 minutes the entire box was empty

Urad dal is split black gram. it is a lentil very rich in protein and carbohydrates. We soak it and make a paste of it.
It is a yummy snack. Little spicy, salty, and crunchy.

They are made from rice and urad dal batter made after soaking them for few hours and grinding them. We have a machine to make it come out in this shape and then it is deep-fried.It is salty, a little spicy, and crunchy. We can store it in an airtight container for few weeks.

It is actually yummy. Quite crunchy too. That's why I packed it in an airtight container to retain the freshness. The name is cute. In some states, it is also known as chakli.
