6th Lockdown Loving it!

August 7, 2021 8:17am CST
I'm getting used to these wonderful time off work. Seven days, often extended to fourteen days, of rest from my laborious kitchen-assisting job. Without lifting a finger on those dishes and heavy duty gastronorm pans, and dishes, massive soup pots. I get to rest and stay home. I realized that people always come out with revenge after days of being home-bound-- fully refreshed. They have saved up their pensions, SS payments, and then, enjoy some festive meals at our restaurant. Thanks to the government. I'll leave them to their own devises for whatever reasons they tell us.

@everwonderwhy It has been one year and 5 months that me and the kids are in the house. I go out minimally when really needed only. I can say that we are used to it by now but still I miss the outside world

For me, I don`t like lockdown because I`m going to miss going outside and eat at a restaurants that I like. Good thing is that we don`t have lockdown anymore but we still have to follow health protocols

I know. Lockdowns are difficult to accept and be forced to stay at home. Stay safe, strong and healthy ready for work and fun times ahead. I go gardening mostly.
