When You're Finally Cleared To Travel, Where Do You Want To Go First? / myLot

For now all I want to do is go to church in Waterloo, which is about 20 miles from where I live here in Guelph Ontario Canada. Now that I think of it, the last time I left the city of Guelph it was September of 2020, to go to church. The rest of the time we listen on line. If I could afford to travel, i think I'd like to see more of Canada. I've seen plenty of the USA, but I haven't seen much of my own country. I would love to see more of it. Hubby and I are thinking of taking a trip to Prince Edward Island one day.

Well, at the moment (things can change) there are not many countries truely banned for us Germans. Some are not advised to travel to and when you return you have to get a test and some quarantine days. But other than that, you are almost free to go. We have booked a vacation for October and we not sure whether flights will really take off or not. We just have to wait and see. When the country will be set on the "red list" and we have to quarantine afterwards, I will continue to work from home (like I am doing since March 2020) and hubby will take some overtime days off. Quarantine for kids is a thing that is rarely done anymore since it's horrible for them. I would test them though - every two days just to be sure.

Here I am again and back from the vacation in Egypt. The kids hat to stay home for 5 days and kindergarten asked for a negative test. We did that and all of us are negative. We are vaccinated, we wore our masks, we kept our distance, we got tested. Everyone else in the hotel was either vaccinated, recovered or tested before the flights. So we felt safe and could unwind in the sun.

I take it that it's a particular church you want to visit, as there are plenty of churches in Guelph. I'd like to go to Pelee Island... always wanted to but never have.
