The Seay family who lives in Greenville South Carolina are very happy that they took the precaution of placing a microchip on their dog Piper when she was a puppy.
Thanks to the microchip, Piper who is a female dog was returned by a family that previous found Piper in their home.
The family that had Piper in their home took the dog to the Greenville County Animal Care where the veterinarians were able to contact the Seay family the good news that the dog that ran away from their home was found safe and sound.
Where did Piper go for the three years she was separated from her owners remains a mystery.
However reuniting with their lost dog after three years is very good news for the Seay family since they never gave up hope for a reunion.
