Feild Of Dreams Is Playing Its First MLB Game

I am a bit bitter on this game because was Supposed to be The Chicago White Sox and The St. Louis Cardinals. They were supposed to play this game last year but Cardinals had like 11 players test positive for Covid so game got canceled.
In their infinite wisdom Major league baseball said screw the Cardinals lets go with the Yankees. I wonder if major league baseball knows the Yankees are not a midwest team. 
To be fair The White sox and The Yankees were the main baseball teams in the movie. So this is history, the first MLB regular season game ever to be played in Iowa and on a Corn Field and from the looks of it a barn is the batters eye. Its the black background to help the hitters see the ball better.
Game is live now on Fox Yankees are winning 3 to 1 and they about to go to bottom of the third. Pretty neat I think

That is cool, but I'd rather see the Cardinals, too.
Or anyone except the Y*nk**s (or the Giants, whom I consider the Evil Empire West).

Yeah, Giants and Redsox with Yankees are all my hated baseball teams. I actually even like the Cubs and Dodgers. I love smoking the Dodgers in playoffs, especially when they supposed to win.

@FourWalls Yeah Cubs, still sliding lost like 8 in row, got thumped today by the Brewers.
Cardinals are playing consistently 500 baseball. They did sweep the Bucs, only team we can beat on a regular basis. Adam Wainwright has been really good this year.
The Reds are to inconsistent and other than NL East the fight between Braves, Philedelphia and the Mets think NL is decided. Giants refuse to lose, Dodgers and Padres are freaking loaded from top to bottom.I see all three of those teams getting in.

@crossbones27 -- nothing much of the Cubs left to like this year. They released Jake Arrieta today, which was necessary and overdue. But that's okay, Cubs fans are used to saying "wait till next year." 
Hoping the Cards can turn it on in the last two months and make the playoffs. I don't see the Brewers losing their hold on first place. And, truthfully, I think the Reds are quite inconsistent so they are catchable. Not while Votto's on fire like he was last month, though.

I think it's so awesome that they actually played a game at that location! I saw that Kevin Costner was even there and that the player walked from out of the cornfield just like in the movie . I love that movie and have seen it a dozen times but now I have the urge to watch it again.

Neither of those but I always root for Yankee's to lose. My team is The Cardinals, they won, but they are not having a very good year.
