In most well appointed restaurants and hotels one finds hand dryers in their rest rooms. A first time experience is pretty complicated as there are no instructions how one uses it. Having said that I find no purpose served as it is not just the hands that we need to wash and dry but many times our face as well. I never use these hand dryers but carry with me my faithful hand towel and wipe my face and hands and all this gets done in a jiffy unlike the hand drier which takes ages and sometimes there is a queue as well

I too rely on my fresh and clean personal towel. I am concerned about the power that it consumes. And it keaves my skin quite dry.

It is so satisfying when we use our own hand towel

I only found them in shopping mall's bathrooms. They were good and fast though. Dried my hands in seconds. But we can't find them everywhere.

I would use it sometimes. But if I'm in a hurry, I would just use paper towel.

The dryer does consume a lot of time. I do not like it at all

Hm, interesting. I've never found them to be complicated. The good dryers actually dry the hands pretty quickly.

Sometimes the hand dryers do not dry your hands. Where's the paper towel. At least it works.

I noticed that too. Rather than wasting paper towels the best is our own hand towel

It makes it impossible to leave the restroom without contaminating the hand you use to open the door. I have also seen many programs showing how filthy hand dryers are. I prefer towels. Ready towel, wash hands, use towel to dry, shut off water, open the door, discard towel. Public restrooms are breeding grounds for bacteria.

You are so right. Public wash rooms are sure breeders of germs

I like this kind of hand dryers because it can dry your hand faster than the other model.

I am old enough to remember when we had to dry our hands on paper towels, and even worse, a roller towel that other people had used before us. But I do agree that these modern hand dryers can be difficult to use.

Once you know how to use them there is no issue there but the practicality is what I am concerned about
