Bonjour, Hello and all the other ways to say Hello in the many wonderful languages of our world! So about that presentation, I think I mentioned it, my big secret covert opps project for class.. This 40 year old college girl is pretty sure she nailed it today!! I did it all in my best flip flops and a cute shirt and are you ready for this ? MY LUCKY JEAN SKIRT!! I love virtual learning, I didn't at first because I missed actually physically going to class but now I love it. I can wear pretty much anything I want to class.. It's absolutely wonderful. I can even put on a nice looking shirt and if I am lazy I can keep my pajama pants on and nobody knows. Or in true Jane fashion get all gussied up like I did today and kill it in my presentation!! I even went as far to put eye liner and eye shadow and wait for it.... Lipstick... My hair was nice and straight and not up in a silly bun or ponytail that I normally do for an every day class. I presented myself quite well. Now tomorrow I think I will settle for a tanktop and pajama shorts or pants depending on how hot it will be. I mean I played the part today no need to do it all over again tomorrow.. We shall see may be more respectful and wear a Beatles t-shirt instead of a tank top .. I can't believe I am actually going to say this but , I feel wonderful, even though I barely slept last night and had an extreme power nap this morning to start my day. I didn't want to stay up late, I wasn't nervous about today's presentation but what I did do was a lot of re writing to make sure every last word spoken from my very, french and Irish lips for my presentation was perfect. Since I can't be perfect I did my best to come as close as I could.. So there I was pacing the floor back and forth reading my presentation out loud at very late or should I say early hours of the morning. My Corky boy aka amazing best dog ever was so confused and had a strange look upon his face evertime I attempted to lay down and then after a solid 10 min of doing just that, I would then proceed to literally jump out of bed to either grab myself a wee little snack or I would head to my happy place where most of my writing for this very site happens. On my front porch in my pajamas contemplating how to become an international spy or a famous poet or someone who gets paid to travel the world just as long as they write a very nice article about the place they stayed at and such. I am not kidding I do my best thinking with a nasty smoke in hand that I know is bad for me on this very porch I speak of. Tonight I shall count out all my blessings and be ever so greatful that I pulled off what I think was a great presentation in a cute jean skirt and my best flip flops and cute shirt ..oh and don't forget the lipstick that was a special treat today... Im actually sitting on the porch right now still have the skirt on and my god the air is thick, I think the heat wave is back again... Just wonderful.. Cheers to all you beautiful people tonight.. Take the time to find your happy place and also look up if you have a beautiful night sky like I do and try and find that one star that shines the brightest! Yours truly Jane, guess what ?
