I have been to NYC 3 times and plan on going back some day. Its awesome, I had so much fun there. Do you miss it? Florida is a big change. I imagine you don't miss the winter, which is here for us northern folks, I am in Ohio and it is cold.

I've visited New York a couple times and I LOVE it. I wouldn't necessarily want to live there. Not in the city, anyway. But it's an awesome place to visit and I would love to go back someday.

Washington Square Park - A view of the famous washington square arch, looking up fifth avenue. The line between Greenwhich and East village.
I go to New York University and I love living in the city! Greenwhich Village is the best place to have your callege experience. Nothing is better than getting to go to mid town every weekend when we finish our work. Especially having lived in Indiana my whole life, this is amazing. I had only visited once before I moved, but I had wanted to live in Manhattan since i was too young to realize how expensive it is :) That did not stop me though!

My partner and I visited New York last July when I won a contest. We only had 2 nights and 3 days which wasn't long enough, but definately well worth the trip! I never walked and shopped so much in my life! I'm dyin to go back.

I've never been to New York. It's on my list of places to visit. I've been living in Florida for 10 years now.

Hi catwoman, born and raised in NYC, I live in Elmhurst and it is just too expensive to continue living here. Forget about living alone and even one roommate is not enough sometimes. It is almost impossible to find a decent studio apt under One Thousand a month to start. My brother lived here 40 years and was never able to get a home - too expensive. He moved to Florida and within his first year there, he and his wife got a home. Not only did they get a home, she stopped working when they went down there and they are very comfortable on his one salary compared to their two pay checks here in NY. I have a few things holding me back but as as soon as I can I will be moving down there too. Question: How long did it take for you to adjust to Florida? Where did you live in Queens? I am across from Elmhurst Hospital.
