I have written some stories about wedding rings, school class rings and engagement rings that were lost a long time ago and then returned to its owner after a stranger found the missing item.
This story is a bittersweet story about a couple who live in North Carolina who went to visit Ontario in July 2020 to celebrate the birthday of Jesse Miezlaiskis who is the late brother of Jordan Miezlaiskis.
Jesse perished in an ATV crash shortly after Jordan and her husband Scott Kjelson came back from visiting Ontario.
Jordan dropped the cellphone by accident in the Chippewa River in the summer of 2020.
Despite the efforts of the family to use a magnet to locate the cellphone, they were not able to recover the cellphone.
However Jordan believed that her late brother Jesse assisted her to reunite with her lost cellphone when Jordan returned to mark the birthday of her late brother one year later when a stranger contacted Jordan on Facebook that a stranger and his brother were diving at the falls when they found a cellphone in the river while Jordan and her husband were in Ontario.
Despite the cellphone being underwater for a year, the cellphone was not damaged at all.
The photos of the family while they were in Ontario were not affected by the time that the cellphone was underwater which made Jordan happy that the spirit of her late brother was there to make his sister happy.
Lesson of this story is to never give up hope that good things will come true in our lifetime.
