Aloe Vera for Wasp Sting

As I was teaching two children of standard 3 a flying insect sat on my shirt on the chest. Thinking it to be a harmless creature I caught it between my right thumb and forefinger and threw it down. Oh the devil was a wasp and before I said Go it had given me its sting. Oh my my! it is so painful! One of the foster girls immediately cut a leaf of aloe vera and rubbed on the burning spot on my thumb. It ameliorated the discomfort slightly. After half an hour the pain is definitely less! During this season somehow these creatures multiply!
