Sure, 'the grammar-expert in the back of my mind' started to interrupt (as I was watching this message on CBS Sunday Morning); but--before it could interject, "You mean 'We did well"--Staff Sgt. Travis Mills started to list all the good they did! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MJrJgsV0is I hope the good they did in Afghanistan fortifies the Afghanistanis against 'whatever tyrannical oppression the Taliban regime has in store.'

i hope it somehow turns out good. i watched the news about Afghanistan last night and i don't see much good there honestly (but maybe the news didn't show everything, i don't know) and also the host was joking and said that this whole things is already seen in one movie and then this:
John Rambo gets an Afghanistan history lesson.

It's not good politically (making Biden-&-co. look like they don't care about powerless Americans & allies still stuck there), but ... it's like how we'll feel in Heaven about our friends & loved ones who might be stuck in Hell.

Yes, but I mostly did well (the adverb); tho I also did a 'good' (the noun ... although it's usually an adjective)---passing the message to any U.S. military veterans who read this.
